Examples of collectible bootleg vinyl LPs including vintage 1970s pressings from labels such as TMOQ, TAKRL, and Wizardo, as well as modern colored vinyl releases.
Bootleg vinyl records have been part of record collecting culture since the late 1960s. Long before the internet and streaming, collectors searched for unofficial LPs that contained rare live performances, studio outtakes, radio broadcasts, and recordings that were never officially released.

Some of the most famous bootleg labels from the early days include Trade Mark of Quality (TMOQ), TAKRL, and Wizardo Records. These labels became legendary among collectors for producing high-quality bootleg LPs that documented historic concerts and rare recordings by major rock artists.

Trade Mark of Quality (TMOQ) is one of the most famous bootleg record labels ever produced. Active mainly in the early 1970s, TMOQ released bootleg LPs featuring artists like Led Zeppelin, Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles.

Another well-known label from the golden age of bootleg vinyl is TAKRL, which stands for The Amazing Kornyfone Record Label. TAKRL released a wide variety of live concert recordings and studio outtakes throughout the 1970s.

Wizardo Records is another legendary bootleg label that produced collectible LPs in the 1970s. Many collectors consider Wizardo titles among the most desirable vintage bootleg records.

Many collectors specifically search for vintage 1970s bootleg records, which were often produced in small quantities. These early unofficial releases captured legendary performances that were never issued on official albums.

In addition to classic black vinyl pressings, many bootleg records have also been produced on colored vinyl and splatter vinyl. These pressings are especially popular with collectors because of their unique appearance and limited production numbers.

One of the main reasons collectors seek out bootleg LPs is the opportunity to hear historic live performances that were never officially released. Bootleg records have documented legendary concerts from artists such as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, and Bob Dylan.

Today, bootleg vinyl records remain a fascinating part of record collecting culture. Vintage pressings from labels like TMOQ, TAKRL, and Wizardo continue to attract collectors who appreciate rare recordings and unique pieces of music history.
