ULTRA RARE private garage blues LP from the Los Angeles area reminds me of early Quicksilver Messenger Service, specifically the 1966 pre-Cipollina lineup as heard on those Groucho releases. "Smokestack Lightning", "Goin' To New York", "You Gotta Help Me", etc. Trebly guitars, wailing harmonica, etc. Band is pretty crude but the pressing is great and the cover=wow! This is one of the rarest 1960s California private LPs, I'd put it in league with Stack, Beat Of The Earth, Damon, etc. Rated at a high "5 disc rating" in Hans Pokora's "4001 Record Collector Dreams" book! THIS IS A NEAR PERFECT STILL SEALED ORIGINAL PRESSING!! Good luck ever in finding another SEALED original!!

There was no time to change it so it went to press. Mike went to the record plant and took the stampers so no more of the albums could be made. The record plant had shipped out possibly 200 of these albums before mike was able to stop them.” … so there you have it. ONLY 200 or LESS copies pressed! Extremely Rare 1973 Private Pressing Acid Folk Psych out of Arizona. Great LP with desperate vocals, Electric Acid Guitar weaving in and out of some tracks, Tablas, female backing vocals, occasional flute. Solid cover with only very mild general wear. Perfect labels. Rare 1970 UK first issue 11-track stereo vinyl LP on the large Vertigo ‘swirl’ label, the group’s second album expertly produced by the great Joe Boyd, housed in a unique & complex fold-out die-cut picture sleeve designed by Roger Dean with lyrics scattered about on the inside & on the reverse, along with the poly lined swirl company inner. The cover EXis a striking forest green for the most part & the Roger Dean artwork looks amazing. Only slight edge/ring wear on the cover and small corner creases that can be seen in the pictures.The matrices are machine stamped in the run-outs 6360009 1Y/1 112 / 2Y/1 112. The vinyl is strictly graded M- and is a BEAUTIFUL example.
Very Good Heavy German Progressive Rock LP, 2nd LP by band. Cover is M-! The condition of the disc is also M- but there is a small "1" written on the side two label on this copy as well.
Killer raw blues guitar album fits into the same bag as Mendelson Mainline's first LP, which in turn places it somewhere near The Aynsley Dunbar Retaliation, early Savoy Brown, Fleetwood Mac, etc. Wicked doll-heads-and-skull cover design probably got hung up on a lot of crash-pad walls back in the day. The condition of the gatefold cover is VG++. The condition of the disc is a nice EX and plays great!

Mega Rare Private second album released by loner/downer folk legend Dave Bixby. The album was sold exclusively at concerts & services in Michigan and Ohio. Most of the material was written around the same time as Ode to Quetzalcoatl. According to Bixby: “I think this second album had more people in it, so you're gonna get a little more aliveness because there's more than just David Bixby in there.” Bixby is joined by Brian MacInness on guitar, Sandy Johnson on vocals and Don DeGraaf on bass and production duties. Don was in fact leader of the, in the end, religious destructive cult known as “The Group”, of which Bixby and Brian were part of. This is all likely why this album is even harder to find than his first, it was not only a private pressing but strictly a cult album, which was sold at services and concerts. When those responsible for the reissues were looking for source copies of the albums (no master tapes exist) they could only track down 2 copies of Second Coming. That just shows how rare it is... Condition: Cover M- still in the shrink wrap! Disc is also M-! TOP COPY!
